Planter boxes make a good project and shorten the winter months. Just a few basic tools and some creativity are all that is needed.

It is fun to go outside of the box with some non-traditional planters

Boxes are made for five and one gallon potted plants to go straight from the greenhouse or nursery to the planter--no potting soil required. The boxes can be placed anywhere and will last for many years.
